Scott Rudin is one of the co-chairs for the Special Kids Network 11th Annual Golf Outing and Annual Women's TennisTournament which was be held on Monday, August 2, 2010 at the Twin Orchard Country Club in Long Grove, Illinois. Keshet Recreational Programs was the benefactor and the special recipients of the proceeds are The Pediatric Gastrointestinal Research Foundation at the University of Chicago Hospital, the National Stuttering Association and the Foundation for Retinal Research. May 5, 2006 - "Hot Topics in Tort"
On May 5th, 2006 , Partner Albert Durkin served as program coordinator and moderator for the ISBA Law Ed seminar "Hot Topics in Tort" at the Chicago Athletic Association. His opening remarks were immediately followed by a presentation from Partner Joseph Miroballi entitled "Damages: Recent Case Updates"

September 2005 - MDR Partner Attends Brain Injury Conference in Florida
Partner Al Durkin attended the 18th Annual Medical & Legal Issues in Brain Injury Conference from September 22nd through 24th in Jacksonville, Florida.
The North American Brain Injury Society (NABIS) sponsored the conference proclaiming it the “most comprehensive” brain injury event held in 2005.
NABIS was created in 2003 as a platform for professional communication about traumatic brain injury. NABIS members consist of attorneys, neuropsychologists, health professionals, and expert witness involved in brain injury litigation.
The conference featured outstanding researchers and clinicians communicating the latest in brain injury science, treatment and testing. Additionally, the conference showcased top trial attorneys and medical experts presenting a wide range of information including diagnostic techniques, rehabilitation and case management.
Al Durkin is a member of NABIS, and he has dedicated a substantial portion of his practice to representing victims of traumatic brain injury.
